Antidote raises $5M Seed round led by Lakestar, bringing total funding to $7M following its earlier $2M pre-seed.

Antidote, an AI-powered automated billing compliance platform for global law firms, today announced it has raised a $5 million Seed round led by Lakestar, with participation from Concept Ventures, The LegalTech Fund (TLTF), and a group of prominent industry angels. This follows the company’s earlier $2 million pre-seed round in 2025, bringing total funding raised to $7 million.
Law firms are under pressure from clients to comply with complex Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs), while continuing to rely on manual, end-of-month review processes that lead to unnecessary write-offs, rejected bills and strained client relationships. Current billing practices and OCG non-compliance lead to 8–12% of billable hours lost to non-compliance write-offs and rejected invoices every year.
Antidote sits on top of a firm’s existing time-recording and practice management systems, automatically reading every time entry, checking it against client OCGs and firm standards, and suggesting compliant rewrites before a bill is ever sent.
The company has integrated seamlessly with major practice management and timekeeping systems and is already being used globally by leading law firms across the US, UK, and Australia, demonstrating strong global demand for proactive billing compliance.
